About Us

My father John and myself started this family run business out of a passion to create beautiful boats for people with dreams. I am responsible for most of the design and building, and John tries to stop me from spending too much of the budget.

We prefer to start with a rough outline and specification, then work through each stage of the build with you the customer. We have found that however much design is prepared on paper, actually seeing the boat and discussing each area as it evolves is the best was to eliminate any disappointments. Adding or reducing inches or feet to bathrooms, lounges, etc., makes a big difference to the finished boat. It is much easier to see on the boat rather than on paper. Our boats are built for you and no one else.

The name ‘Daddy’s Boat Co’ was chosen by my eight year old son and just stuck, it may be different, but nearly always makes people smile!
