Standard Specification for our Boats

We do not have an exact specification as all our boats are built to customers own designs and ideas, designed around our broad outline specification.

However, our usual specification is as follows; Shell 10-6-5-4 marine grade steel, two coats of red oxide primer, five coats of premium coat blacking below gunwale. Usually cruiser stern, short forward deck with gas locker forward. 40hp Barrus Shire with PRM gearbox, twin alternators. One start plus four house batteries. 240 volt electric shore power and a Victron multi inverter/charger. Hurricane diesel fired central heating installed in engine compartment, linked to calorifier also in engine compartment. Boat lined out in 18mm solid oak, all joinery also in solid oak.

From aft deck, down the stairs we usually create a wet area which includes electric cupboard, wet locker and coat storage, with a radiator for drying coats.

The bathroom usually has a corner shower, either pump out toilet or electric flush cassette. Basin, either vanity or glass bowl type, plus storage to your design.

Kitchen, shaped to suit your design, with Corian work surfaces, and moulded sink. 12v fridge, gas hob and cooker. All cupboards in solid oak, to your own shape or design.

Pullman dinette/second double bed, upholstered to your own taste.

Open lounge to include cupboards to accommodate TV and storage, Stovax wood burner and surround.

External paint finish in two colours of your choice.
